The role of Director of Human Resources at a $60 million manufacturing company was unexpectedly void after an employee’s nearly three decades with the company. This critical role needed to be filled with a highly experienced human resources professional to ensure that the department’s functions stayed on track until a permanent replacement could be hired.
Patina provided a director-level human resources professional with experience in manufacturing to perform the duties and responsibilities of the Director of Human Resources on an interim basis of three months. In addition, our Patina Professional was charged with preparing and presenting a comprehensive assessment of the company’s human resources practices.
Our professional performed the day-to-day duties of the Director of Human Resources including all necessary functions in compliance, reporting, on-boarding and performance management. She also conducted an audit of the company’s current human resources practices and procedures in order to develop a gap analysis on the company’s compliance to standards. Our Patina Professional then developed a final report which identified what was working well and which areas needed improvement, plus included a plan for moving forward.
