Interim VP of Sales 

A $500 million diversified manufacturer abruptly lost its Vice President of Sales. The company was not prepared to have anyone step in to this key role, so the executives turned to Patina for an Interim Sales Executive. Patina provided a Patina Professional for six months while the company recruited a new leader of its large sales team.  Our professional worked full time for this client including some overseas trips as needed.  Once the new sales leader was hired, our professional stayed on part time for a few months to help with the transition.

Chronic Sales Shortfalls 

A private equity firm was seeing shortfalls in sales versus plan in one of its portfolio companies.  This science-based leadership team was not proven in setting and achieving sales goals, and the company was not yet ready to hire a seasoned sales executive.  The company engaged Patina to develop and oversee a sales strategy and to work with the current leadership team to improve its understanding of selling.   

High Sales Turnover 

A large temporary staffing firm was experiencing significant turnover amongst its sales ranks over the past few years.  The Executive Vice President of Sales was looking for help in analyzing the reasons for this high turnover.  Her own staffers were too close to the problem to fix it, so she engaged Patina to study this problem and give her some ideas for solutions. Patina assigned two proven sales leaders to this one-month engagement, and their ideas were well received. Our team researched the competition, reviewed current and past sales team profiles and provided practical suggestions for how to lower sales turnover.

New Product Sales Training

A large medical device company was ready to roll out a new product, and it needed to provide product and sales training to its 1,000 salespeople located throughout North America.  Patina provided a team of three Sales Professionals to help design and deliver the training in 10 locations around the US.
